Plant of the Week - Jalapeño - was offered between July 27, 2024 through August 4, 2024.

Jalapeño is a member of the Pepper-Mint family.
Jalapeño costs 125 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 4, and 7.)
Jalapeño deals 1,800 damage to all zombies in a lane. (+100 damage per level until level 7.)
Jalapeño has a 35 second recharge. (-1 second per level. An additional -1 second at level 10.)

Commentary:
It's easy to see why this plant is so valuable. Every zombie in the lane can get burned. Seriously, what's not to like?

Bottom Line:
Players receive Jalapeño early in their journey and this plant fails to disappoint. It's a solid plant. Does good damage. Reasonable cost. It may not be the sexiest plant around, but if you see our videos, you do notice that Jalapeño is still selected often. That's really all the endorsement you need.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
