Lord Jesus, we choose to set our mind on our spirit to enjoy You as our life and peace. Amen, Lord, we come to You in Your word. May Your word be living and operative in us. May Your word be like a sharp two-edged sword in our being to pierce even to the dividing of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow. Oh, Lord, shine in us and within us through Your living word. May we be able to discern our spirit from our soul. May we be able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. Save us from living in our soul. Save us from having our soul and our spirit mixed in our daily life.
