Crown Points, Coolock, Ireland - 27 July 2024

Today at Crown Points in Coolock, there was a noticeably larger crowd, including media representatives such as Gript. Garda representatives and the Public Order Unit were present, and they appeared friendly and seemed to share the sentiment against placing asylum seekers in the vacant Crown factory in Coolock. However, I observed several uniformed officers at various points, and a number of marked vans were patrolling the streets. Additionally, a white helicopter was seen hovering overhead, emitting exhaust fumes as it circled the area for an extended period.
