1964 Pontiac Bonneville Tandem Brake Tip & Buckle Up For Safety! A Walk Around For The Chief.

I saw the video from Chief Classics: "Barn Find 1966 Pontiac 2+2 Convertible Gets 421 Engine!" and thought it a good idea to talk about how I set up my 1964 Bonnie for safer tandem brakes. Most cars (some had an option) before 1967 were on single cylinder hydro brakes and if one was to have a busted hose or any loss of fluid one had no hydro brakes at all. This is an easy way to make it twice as safe and it is not that hard. I even did this on a 1957 GMC and some systems even offer a warning lamp if you loose one side and that has happened to me. I have a 1970 Triumph Spitfire that has the tandem system but also came with the warning lamp if you lost one side. I can't recall what master cyl I came up with but it wasn't hard to sort and the extra couple of brake lines fittings were also easy to sort and fit. I do hope this helps anyone wanting to make this upgrade to whatever single system you may wish to convert to tandem. Thank You

I have some information on Odysee too if you'd like to check that out and I also post these on Rumble and X.
