....weekly garden update....27/07/24

....starting with the little tomatoes in the polytunnel, then outside to the new veg bed and the potatoes that are ready for cropping, up to the brassicas that need weeding again, spinach gone to seed a few beetroot still in and some broccoli, up to the kitchen garden where a lot is going to seed that we will collect for next year, leeks, fennel, onions, radishes and salad leaves. And a couple of cucumbers still struggling along. Around to the baths, carrots, spring onions and beans doing nicely, then round the back to the tree spinach and seeded chard, into the greenhouse there are lettuces, peppers, chillies and tomatoes and some leeks waiting for planting out. In the fruit bed a currant bush, rhubarb and a little apple tree, parsnips in the tall pots , butternut squash in the little bed doing ok and more chillies, peppers and tomatoes in the small greenhouse. Up to the top beds where newly planted leeks and the white onions are growing. Lastly over to the fruit trees, golden plums and apples all looking plentiful....thanx again for watching folks.
