The Olympic Games officially opens in Paris later on Friday.

But people are being told not to go to train stations.

French rail company S-N-C-F says its network has been the victim of several malicious arson attacks that damaged their facilities.

The statement goes on to say high speed train traffic is very disrupted and a large number of services will have to be cancelled.

France's high-speed TGV rail network has been hit by "malicious acts", disrupting some of the nation's busiest lines on the day of the Paris Olympics opening ceremony.
