IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) Yesterday we had Rasmussen with a big Trump lead, today it's Democracy Project: Trump +8. I think Ras has been too high all cycle. But this CNN poll also has President Trump up, this time by a more reasonable 3. I think this will be the zone for a little under a month, at which time the Trump attack ads begin to define Cackles and her numbers begin to sink after the honeymoon. Meanwhile this swing state polling has Trump in great shape, carrying every swing state except WI (tied) and down just 3 in MN. This is about right to me, if AZ is just a tad low.

2) The Obamas, seeing the handwriting on the wall, finally endorsed Cackles. Then the fascist toadstool of a Netflix founder, Reed Hastings, wrote her a check for $7 million. Burn that money, Reed, just like books. Oh, and all those "donations?" It was ActBlue money laundering.

3) It's not just Kollyfornia's big cities that have a homeless problem: the Mojave Valley has over 6,000 homeless in the desert.

4) A Florida judge dealt fascist so-called antifa and anti-abortion nuts a defeat over their violent attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers, while this Pennsylvania judge dealt the anti-gunners a setback.

5) Senator Malarkey wants to add four more Supe seats. Hey, you know, that's not a bad idea. Let's make it happen starting January 2025. And this Georgia judge will not block a prosecutorial team from going after Fat Fani Willis.

COMMENT: Recent attacks on J.D. Vance by pseudo-conservatives such as Tomi Lauren over his (correct) "cat woman" remarks from years ago are the latest from the Nick Knack Paddywhackers and the DeSorosoids to get one of them into the vice presidency so they can assassinate Trump and elevate them to the presidency.

IN TRANSOID NEWS

6) A Florida judge ruled as unconstitutional a Florida law banning child mutilation and puberty blockers for minors. I have said all along, the Supes can run but they can't hide from this.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

7) Buying conditions for houses hit an all time low.

8) Shocked! A new study shows that Gruesome's $20-an-hour minimum wage policy has killed the fast food industry in Kollyfornia. Some 89% decreased work hours and 70% reduced staff.

IN INTENATIONAL NEWS

9) Coordinated acts of "malice" wreaked havoc at the Paris Olympics that no one is watching.

10) Britain has condemned itself, now withdrawing opposition to Netanyahu's international arrest warrant.

11) A Bulgarian fireworks factory exploded. Unless, of course, it was a Uke drone that got off course.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

12) While I still have friends in the industry, overall this couldn't happen to a nicer bunch: "Hollywood's Mental Health Crisis"---how Tinseltown is becoming a "den of despair."

13) Video game performers are going on strike against AI. I totally understand and agree with their position, but this will only incentivize the gaming companies to make the transition sooner.

14) "Deadpool and Wolverine" looks to be heading for an R-rated record, and appears to be non-woke. Critics don't like it, but audiences love it.

15) Rupert Murdoch is actually going to court to push his three lib kids out of the Faux empire.

16) The son of the Rolling Stones' guitarist Ronnie Wood married the daughter of Iron Maiden's guitarist.

17) El Chapo's son flipped and helped capture the co-founder of the Sinaloa cartel. Yeah, this guy's life ends in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .

AND FINALLY . . .

18) I had a little story from my band days that I thought you'd find amusing. Our band, "Rampage," was given a tour of the Record Plant studio in LA---I guess they thought we were going to be big. At any rate the first thing that awed me was we saw a giant recording room with a full orchestra setup. Our guide said that Barbra Streisand had just wrapped up recording there. Then, we were walking down a hall---the Record Plant was paneled with beautiful wood, but it was hard to see doors. They were camouflaged. So I'm following our guide and suddenly out of nowhere a door opens in front of me and I knock over Chris McGuinn of the Byrds. He was a short little guy! Anyway, that was the closest I ever came to the Byrds . . . or to recording at the Record Plant.
