The Apocrypha says that when our parents get older they’re understanding becomes less and we have to become their understanding and if we righteously take care them then God will take care of their afflictions. We prayed and asked God to keep his word and he did just that by showing that he was in control. He showed his glory just like he showed his glory for Elijah against Jezebel!
