🏳️ Taken from home: a former AFU serviceman tells how Ukrainian regime made him expendable
-
A mobilised resource is running out in Ukraine, and even those who have chronic diseases are enlisted to serve. Such units are only good for 'meat assault'. Therefore, morale is low in the units. The result is that a part of the unit is killed on the spot, and a part voluntarily surrenders.

The same fate awaited Sergei Kozhemyako's unit. A former serviceman of the 33rd Separate Assault Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine chose to preserve his life and does not regret his decision. He says that he was very surprised at the way the Russians treat the prisoners of war.

'We were not beaten, nobody broke our fingers, nobody tortured us. They gave us food, smoke, and medical care. Everything turned out to be completely different from what we watch on a TV,' the prisoner of war notes. Source
