The Chastening of the Children of Israel

When Joshua and the Israelites were conquering the promised land, Manasseh, Gad and Reuben were not allowed to rest in their land until all of the other tribes of Israel could rest in their lands over the Jordan river (remember the so-called negro spiritual, "My Home Is Over Jordan"?). The promised land was meant to be rest for Israel after we came out of slavery in Egypt but alas, we chose to return to slavery -- we chose to live in sin and break our covenant with YAH. YAH loves Israel, His chosen people and "YAH disciplines the one He loves, as does a father the son in whom he delights." (Proverbs 3:12) The black slave descendants/the Israelites suffer all that we've suffered and continue to suffer because YAH will not allow us to sin without punishment. Amos 3:2 "You (Israel) only have I (YAH) known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities." As per the Curses of Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28, the Transatlantic Slave Trade, the Arab Slave Trade, etc. are punishments for us breaking our covenant with YAH and we continue to live under the Curses in the lands of our enemies. Jeremiah 25:29 "I (YAH) have begun to punish Jerusalem (Yahrushalom), the city that bears My Name. Now should I let you (non-Israelites) go unpunished? No, you will not escape disaster. I will call for war against all the nations of the earth. I, YAH of Heaven's Armies, have spoken!"
