Yesterday’s congressional hearing highlighted the unfortunate truth that CDC waited months before investigating the matter, leaving local authorities to clean up the hazardous pathogens.

If the CDC truly cared about disease control and prevention, they would not have failed us so miserably in their handling of the illegal bio-lab. Once again, the CDC proves that “trust + transparency” are just actionless talking points.
