WATCH: Complete bodycam footage of police discovering Trump shooter's body

Senator Chuck Grassley's office on Thursday released more bodycam footage from shortly after the attempted assassination of former US president Donald Trump on July 13.

The video shows officers from Beaver County Emergency Services and the Secret Service accessing the rooftop where shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks fired.

The officers gathered evidence immediately after the attack.

Grassley, a Republican from Iowa, is among many in Congress demanding a full investigation.

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned on Tuesday following harsh criticism for the agency's failure to prevent the attack.

The Secret Service now faces investigations from multiple congressional committees and the Department of Homeland Security's internal watchdog over its performance.
