Footage released of deadly Nepal air crash

CCTV footage has been shared online showing the moment a Saurya Airlines flight was involved in a freak crash during takeoff on Wednesday. The plane was taking off from Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport when it began to tilt, its wing making contact with the runway and causing the plane to skid out of control.

The aircraft was immediately engulfed in flames, as it crashed just off the runway. The 18 passengers onboard were killed, with the pilot being the sole survivor.
