NT Bible Study 97: cont. sermons: cont. confrontation(Beginning of Jesus' Galilean Ministry part 57)

This is a comparative Bible study on the events surrounding the beginning of Jesus' Galilean ministry. This 57th part continues by comparing Jesus' Sermon on the Mount and Sermon in the Plain with regard to -- among other things -- verses that have to do with confrontation (Matthew 5:38-48 and Luke 6:27-36). Other verses referenced during this Bible study are: Matthew 5:21-26, Exodus 21:24, Leviticus 24:20, Deuteronomy 19:21. Overall, this is our 97th New Testament (NT) Bible study. I'm a layperson, hoping to witness things I believe I've learned through Bible study, and would like to share this information as a friend would with a friend.
