Sudden Fear (1952)

"Sudden Fear" is an American film noir thriller released in 1952, directed by David Miller. The plot follows Myra Hudson (Joan Crawford), a wealthy playwright who impulsively marries a younger actor, Lester Blaine (Jack Palance), after a whirlwind romance. However, she soon discovers that Lester is having an affair with his former lover, Irene Neves (Gloria Grahame), and the two are plotting to murder her for her fortune. Myra, now trapped in a deadly game of cat and mouse, must use her intelligence and cunning to outsmart her would-be killers.
