"The Woman on Pier 13" (also released as "I Married a Communist") is an American film noir drama film released in 1949, directed by Robert Stevenson. The plot revolves around Brad Collins (Robert Ryan), a successful businessman with a dark secret: his past involvement with the Communist Party. When Communist agents threaten to expose his past if he doesn't cooperate with their agenda, Brad must choose between protecting his reputation and family or succumbing to their demands. The film stars Laraine Day as Nan Lowry Collins, Brad's wife, and John Agar as Don Lowry, Nan's brother.
