"Drunken Angel" (酔いどれ天使 Yoidore Tenshi) is a Japanese drama film released in 1948, directed by Akira Kurosawa. The plot follows an alcoholic doctor, Sanada (Takashi Shimura), who attempts to treat Matsunaga (Toshirô Mifune), a young gangster with tuberculosis.
