I Love Trouble (1948)
"I Love Trouble" is an American film noir comedy-drama released in 1948, directed by S. Sylvan Simon. The plot follows Stuart Bailey, a wisecracking private investigator, who is hired by a wealthy man to investigate the disappearance of his wife. As Bailey delves into the case, he uncovers a trail of deception, blackmail, and murder, leading him to question everyone involved. The film stars Franchot Tone as Stuart Bailey, Janet Blair as Nora, and Janis Carter as Hazel.
