Rep. Thomas Massie has gone scorched earth on Netanyahu’s speech to Congress, labeling it as “political theater.”

“Today Congress will undertake political theater on behalf of the State Department,” Massie blasted on 𝕏.

“The purpose of having Netanyahu address Congress is to bolster his political standing in Israel and to quell international opposition to his war.”

“I don’t feel like being a prop, so I won’t be attending,” Massie said.

But it's not just Massie. Over 30 lawmakers have joined him in boycotting the speech, protesting Netanyahu’s handling of the Gaza conflict.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, however, defended the visit, calling it a vital show of “America’s resolve and our support” during Israel’s “most desperate time.”

Watch how the internet weighed in on Massie's fiery comments about Netanyahu.
