This Is The Higher Reality Of Success. Never Quitting

“It never ends until it ends.”

Understanding this was one of my biggest breakthroughs in my maturity as a man.

A simple belief that changed my relationship with sacrifice and suffering.

In the past I would sprint towards a short term goal, win and then take my foot off the gas.

“I earned this”

It would show up in not only fitness but also business and even relationships.

I would pursue the prize and “win” and my effort would slowly fade after the accomplishment.

I actually see this with a lot of men that “win her” and then stop pursing her after they “sealed the deal”.

Or men that get in shape in 90 days take some photos then get fat a year later.

It took me awhile to realize how much that start and stop mentality was really a sign of immaturity and a limiting belief that there is a finish line.

That somehow at some point the race is over and it’s time to relax on the glory of yesterday.

“Look how great I am”

Life is an endurance sport — not a sprint.

Yesterday’s effort only mattered yesterday, and today is a new day and it might be the last one you get.

And it doesn’t end until it ends.

Everyone is sore, tired and fatigued… suck it up and do your best and keep moving forward.

Be better than yesterday.

Be more fit, more forgiving, more loving, more present and just fucking be better.
