Egyptians flock to the beach to escape extreme heat

The sand on Alexandria's Mediterranean coast is barely visible, blanketed by overlapping umbrellas as thousands of Egyptians flock to the city's public beaches to escape this summer's extreme heat waves. "All beaches are full, all of them," said Alexandria resident Ramdan Hassan.
