I often meet an American who stands out as a citizen of courage and action in my travels. I met one of these types a few weeks ago during my trip to Detroit Michigan and want to introduce him to you all. We need Americans with the courage to act because the skyrocketing cost of energy, record-setting levels of debt and rising taxes threaten our economic strength. Our nation’s border is wide open. More than 9.4 million immigrants illegally entered our country from 2021-2024 and, predictably, we’ve witnessed an explosion of crime, drugs and human trafficking. The American education system has been taken over by progressive ideologies that are indoctrinating our youth with inappropriate racial, sexual and political material. As a result, our children are falling behind in math, reading and writing — the knowledge and skills they need to find well-paying jobs. The bottom line is that the Republican-led House of Representatives has failed to use their legislative responsibility and power of the purse to improve the lives and safety of everyday Americans. Brendan Muir is one of these courageous Americans stepping up to act by running for congress this year, challenging his Republican congressman in the Michigan primary coming up on August 6th. Brendan graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Applied Engineering. His experience in the demanding automotive industry required that he engage with executive management, travel worldwide, and work across multiple continents and cultures.
