Chest MRI with MRI Plus at Chartwell Hospital

This Chest MRI is excluding the Heart and Lungs and only looking at the following things:

Thymus Gland:

Normal anatomy and size
Thymic hyperplasia (enlargement)
Thymomas and other thymic tumors

Oesophagus (Esophagus):

Structural abnormalities
Esophageal masses or tumors
Inflammation or infections

Trachea:

Tracheal stenosis (narrowing)
Masses or tumors within or adjacent to the trachea
Inflammatory conditions

Thoracic Diaphragm:

Diaphragmatic hernias
Abnormal movements (such as paralysis)
Tumors or lesions involving the diaphragm

Other Soft Tissues:

Mediastinal masses (including lymph nodes and tumors)
Blood vessels within the chest (though detailed vascular imaging may require specialized MR angiography)
Surrounding fat and connective tissues

Chest Wall:

Skin, fat, muscles, and bones (ribs, sternum)
Soft tissue masses or tumors
Rib fractures or lesions
Muscle abnormalities
