Deadpool and Wolverine Sets Records! Will Marvel Learn From This Win?

Deadpool and Wolverine is on track to dominate the box office and set records in the process. Early reviews are overwhelmingly positive and it's a bright spot in an otherwise dower year. With all that good will, will Marvel learn from this victory, or squander the momentum?

Kevin Feige appears to have learned from the follies of the post Endgame Marvel content and wants to improve. Ahead of the next Avengers movie, he is looking to pare down the number of superfluous heroes introduced in the series and reorient the franchise's focus. It's a nice sentiment, but with Captain America: Brave New World and the rest of the 2025 slate on the horizon, it's tough to get too excited ahead of seeing marked change.
