Taking Things Slowly – Our first days in Cefalu, Sicily

We are walking down the malecon by the beach in historical Cefalu, Sicily. It’s an immaculate town that tourists love with picturesque scenery all around. La Rocca is a huge presence, there is a Cathedral, and this beach is where many invasions of this island of Sicily happened. Hard to even envision that through the calmness that is today. Billy tells a woeful tale of internet connection in our apartment as well as grappling with digitized European electric stoves!
