The Kremlin has announced it will wait for "concrete actions" from Kyiv following recent comments by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which appeared to raise the possibility of negotiations to end the ongoing conflict initiated by Moscow.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded to Zelensky's interview with the BBC, where the Ukrainian president suggested that international pressure could push Russia to the negotiating table. Zelensky stated, "It doesn't mean that all territories are won back by force. I think the power of diplomacy can help. By putting pressure on Russia, I think it is possible to agree to a diplomatic settlement."
