ASFA- The Link to Foster Care and Child Trafficking

ASFA Adoption Safe and Families Act is the foundation of every case plan! As a case worker, I was taught it was a good thing because it ensured foster children did not remain in care for many years! Sounds pretty, right!?
Parents are told they have 15 months to complete a case plan and at the end of those 15 months their child will be adopted out if the case plan is not completed! Case workers then railroad the parents to ensure the child is adopted! That’s ASFA!
