"The Hitch-Hiker" is an American film noir thriller released in 1953, directed by Ida Lupino. The plot follows two friends, Roy Collins and Gilbert Bowen, on a fishing trip to Mexico. Their vacation takes a dark turn when they pick up a hitchhiker, Emmett Myers, who turns out to be a psychopathic killer on the run.
