BURN YOUR MUSIC! / Pastor Bob's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: Some Churches have youth group nights when you bring your secular music collection to be burned. They say this is one way to rid ourselves of idols. These people teach that a Christian must only listen to Christian music. But they warn that even this can become an idol. Although, they never ask you to throw your Christian music into the fire. Is any of this Biblical? Does God want us to destroy our secular music like some Churches teach? They say even music such as The Beatles needs to be destroyed since they aren’t preaching the Gospel with their music. What do you think about all of this?
