Love fried cakes? This one is guaranteed not to burst and stays super dry! Perfect for a quick snack or to impress at a friends' gathering. 🤤💕
👩🍳 Ingredients:
Tapioca starch: 2 cups (use the same 300 ml mug for all measurements)
Oil: 1/2 cup for the dough + extra for frying
Water: 1 cup
Salt: 1 pinch
Eggs: 2 (or as needed to get the right consistency)
🔥 Preparation:
Boil the oil, water, and salt. Scald the tapioca starch with this mixture and let it cool.
Add the eggs, one at a time, until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
Fry the cakes in hot oil over low heat until evenly golden.
💡 Tip: Frying over low heat is the secret to prevent splattering and ensure they are crispy and dry!
