Reject: A Super Superhero Story (part 26)

*As Sister Salvation faces a losing battle with the Avarr armored elite of all of the Ten Mans robots, Reject endures the pain of his hand regrowing. It is an agony he hasn't faced since his last campaign with the Seppian Pure hundreds of years ago. A campaign that saw him losing a leg as he led a battalion or Pure along a genocidal march across a planet to eliminate every Unenlightened they found. Reject doesn't remember the name of the race that had been deemed Unenlightened, or the planet they called their own, all he recalls is that they refused to be ruled by the Seppian leadership...the Oversight...and they especially refused to submit to genetic manipulation that would have bonded their cells to Seppian technology, a process well known to cause the elimination of half a worlds population since many cannot endure the surgery. With those two refusals given, the Oversight deemed the world, and that race, Unenlightened and that is all that was necessary. Why remember any more when as part of the Pure Reject was only sent to kill, his success at slaughtering an entire species, and having to regrow a leg after losing it under very heroic circumstances, giving him his promotion to Advanced and sending him down the path that led him to Earth and the murder of his love Junnar Cass. Back then, Reject even had the time to fully heal, a process that takes at least a day before the grown limb is as strong as it needs to be. But as he remembers the pain of the last time he lost a part of himself, Reject knows he doesn't have a day. He must fight what he feels to be the strongest robot yet. He must get back into battle with the Ten Man even if he also feels that that will only lead to him saving the woman who took his hand just a second ago [AI Art]*
