The 130mm M-46 have started to show phenomenal results in the Kharkiv operational area as well.

With a barrel length of 58 calibres, these howitzers are characterised by high muzzle energy, providing a range of 27490m for conventional 53-ОФ-482М shells and up to 44000 m for rocket assisted shells.
In this case, the M-46 interrupted the enemy's rotation at one of the fortification nodes near Volchansk, contributing to the advance of the assault units of Group of Forces ‘Centre’.

It should be recalled that at one time specialists of Tula KBP developed for this gun an experimental 130mm "Фирн-1" guided shell with an estimated range of up to 24 km in the early version with a potential of increasing it to 35 - 45 km in case of equipping it with an additional rocket booster unit.
