STUCK IN THE DOLDRUMS
You, my friend, are stuck in the doldrums. Yeah, me, too.
The "doldrums" is a nautical term that refers to the belt around the Earth near the equator where sailing ships sometimes get stuck on windless waters. Very intense heat is created at the equator from the sun’s direct focus. This heated air rises upwards like a hot air balloon, rather than blowing horizontally. The result: little or no wind.

Let’s be honest. Yep, even believers go through doldrumic periods of life.
That means it’s time to sit before the Lord and let Him examine you and ask you hard questions. This is the time of pruning. Pruning is essential. You cannot be fully fruitful unless you are trimmed. Otherwise, you will remain a straightened slinky, unable to fulfill your God-given purpose.

So, what is the proper, Biblical, Godly answer to overcome this limp sail season of life.
You need to break out the “oars” and row away from the windless belt . . . "
