As a one-man-project, I created my animated short film "Sound Asleep" over the course of two and a half years. Completely done in Blender, a free and open source 3D creation suite.

Rendered on a single graphics card (GeForce GTX 1080 Ti) in Blender's Render Engine "Cycles".

I've always been fascinated by Pixar's Behind-the-Scenes (Up, Monsters Inc, ...). Step by step, ideas turn into a movie. That's what I wanted to go through myself by creating this short film.

Today I'm glad to present the finished movie. Still can't believe it's actually done now :D. Thanks for watching!
