Paulstretch - Vangelis "Heaven And Hell". (The Theme From Cosmos) [800%] (2017 Original Upload).
Have you ever wondered what happens when you stretch a song to make it last much longer than its original length? That’s what paulstretching is all about. It’s a technique that uses a special algorithm to slow down audio by extreme amounts without changing the pitch. It can create amazing ambient soundscapes from any source material. In this video, I will show you how I used paulstretching to transform the track “Heaven and Hell” by Vangelis, which was the theme song for the 1980’s show Cosmos by Carl Sagan. I used Audacity, a free and open-source audio editor, to apply the paulstretch effect and make the song eight times longer. The result is a mesmerizing and relaxing sonic experience that you can enjoy for over an hour. I hope you like this video and please subscribe for more paulstretching experiments.
