Day 65 in 100 Days FASTING and PRAYER, SUNDAY 21ST JULY, 2024.
Our Topic: THIS Is YOUR TIME Of HONOUR And REMEMBRANCE.

Scriptures from New King James version as We take on Esther 6:1-13, The King Honors Mordecai. That night the king could not sleep. So one was commanded to bring the book of the records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs, the doorkeepers who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus. Then the king said, “What honor or dignity has been bestowed on Mordecai for this?” And the king’s servants who attended him said, “Nothing has been done for him.” So the king said, “Who is in the court?” Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the king’s palace to suggest that the king hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him. The king’s servants said to him, “Haman is there, standing in the court.” And the king said, “Let him come in.” So Haman came in, and the king asked him, “What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?” Now Haman thought in his heart, “Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?” And Haman answered the king, “For the man whom the king delights to honor, let a royal robe be brought which the king has worn, and a horse on which the king has ridden, which has a royal crest placed on its head. Then let this robe and horse be delivered to the hand of one of the king’s most noble princes, that he may array the man whom the king delights to honor. Then parade him on horseback through the city square, and proclaim before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!’ ” Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king’s gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken.” So Haman took the robe and the horse, arrayed Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city square, and proclaimed before him, “Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!” Afterward Mordecai went back to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried to his house, mourning and with his head covered. When Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him, his wise men and his wife Zeresh said to him, “If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not prevail against him but will surely fall before him.”
2 Samuel 9:1-13, David’s Kindness to Mephibosheth. Now David said, “Is there still anyone who is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” And there was a servant of the house of Saul whose name was Ziba. So when they had called him to David, the king said to him, “Are you Ziba?” He said, “At your service!” Then the king said, “Is there not still someone of the house of Saul, to whom I may show the kindness of God?” And Ziba said to the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan who is lame in his feet.” So the king said to him, “Where is he?” And Ziba said to the king, “Indeed he is in the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, in Lo Debar.” Then King David sent and brought him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, from Lo Debar. Now when Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, had come to David, he fell on his face and prostrated himself. Then David said, “Mephibosheth?” And he answered, “Here is your servant!” So David said to him, “Do not fear, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father’s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.” Then he bowed himself, and said, “What is your servant, that you should look upon such a dead dog as I?” And the king called to Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said to him, “I have given to your master’s son all that belonged to Saul and to all his house. You therefore, and your sons and your servants, shall work the land for him, and you shall bring in the harvest, that your master’s son may have food to eat. But Mephibosheth your master’s son shall eat bread at my table always.” Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants. Then Ziba said to the king, “According to all that my lord the king has commanded his servant, so will your servant do.” “As for Mephibosheth,” said the king, “he shall eat at my table like one of the king’s sons.” Mephibosheth had a young son whose name was Micha. And all who dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants of Mephibosheth. So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem, for he ate continually at the king’s table. And he was lame in both his feet.
1 Samuel 1:19-20. Samuel Is Born and Dedicated. Then they rose early in the morning and worshiped before the Lord, and returned and came to their house at Ramah. And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her. So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the Lord.” Hallelujah, praise God for the reading of His word. Amen!

MEDITATION and SUMMARY on TODAY’S SCRIPTURAL PASSAGES.
Child of God, do you know that until God remembers you, nobody will remember you? Do you know that until the Lord recognizes your good deeds, nobody will recognize your good deeds or achievements? Do you know that until God promotes you, however good or industrious you may be, you shall not be promoted?

This is because, the spiritual controls the physical. Everything you see happening in the physical must have happened in the Spiritual. Modecai was a Jew and stays at the palace gate. There was a time the two palace Eunuchs planned to overthrow and execute the King, but he revealed their plans, thereby saved the life of the King. It is unfortunate to state that Modecai was not remembered, recognized nor was he rewarded for that. One day, God decided to remember, reward and promote him. On this note, the scripture recorded in Esther 6:1-2, that the King was greatly troubled, restless and could not sleep because Modecai must be remembered by Divine ordination; he ordered that official documents should be brought to him, so while he was going through them, he saw where his life was saved by Modecai. On this note, he sought to know whether he was rewarded for that great deed and discovered that he was not rewarded. He then decided to reward and honour him. Modecai was greatly rewarded, honored and was later promoted to the position of prime Minister of the Empire.

God will remember, reward and promote you. Before the end of this program, every good deed you have done that has not been remembered, recognized and rewarded shall be remembered and rewarded bountifully. Those who had forgotten you, shall remember you. Your divine helpers will be restless until they have located and remembered you in the name of Jesus. Amen, hallelujah!

PRAYER FOR PROMOTION.
Heavenly promoter, I thank you because you exalt your children even when they are down to nothing. Father, the hour has come again to prove to my enemies who do not want to see my progress in life that you are my God.

In Psalm 46:10, your word says "be still and know that I am God". At this hour, I am still to see your power move in my life.

According to your word in Psalm 75 verse 6 to 7 that says, "for not from the east; or from the west nor from the south comes promotion and lifting up. But God is the judge. He puts one down and lifts up another". Abba Father, I know you are able to promote and lift me up.
I need a divine promotion and lifting from this position to another by your mercy.

I pray for promotion in my office, work place, school, business and entire life in Jesus name. Amen. Mighty God, as you promoted Joseph from the pit to the palace and raised Mordecai from the gate to the throne, let there be a divine lifting and promotion in my position to a greater position of no regret in Jesus name Amen.

I declare with Micah 7 verse 8 saying, "rejoice not against me, 0 my enemies! When I fall, I shall arise". Mighty God, may no power of darkness, men or women ever stop my promotion in Jesus name and with the word of God which says in Job 22 verse 29 "that when there is a casting down, men will say there is a lifting up". By the power of God, I declare I am not down; but lifted and promoted in Jesus name. Amen.
