POV Shooting | 1887 Martini-Henry MkIV - 45acp vs .577/450

Martini Henry MkIV (long lever) chambered in .577/450. Original cartridges are expensive, even if you reload brass. There is a company (The Shooter's Box - no affiliation with myself, not a sponsor, just a personal review) that makes sub-caliber steel inserts that allows the MH to fire 45acp or 45LC. I've purchased three of these inserts and they pay for themselves. The 45acp is my favorite and has the most consistent accuracy. After ~200 rounds the inserts tend to start splitting at the neck, which can potentially be hazardous with gas escaping, but it's so much cheaper that it is worth it just buy spares.
