DICTATOR NÍCOLAS MADURO: THERE WILL BE "BLOODSHED” AND “CIVIL WAR" 🤢
Durante o comício realizado na quarta-feira (17/7), o presidente da Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, alertou que o país pode enfrentar um cenário de “banho de sangue” e “guerra civil”, caso ele não seja reeleito no pleito marcado para 28 de julho. O comício foi realizado em Parroquia de La Vega, na Zona Oeste de Caracas, Venezuela.
Segundo o presidente da Venezuela, o destino do país depende da própria vitória.
“Se não quiserem que a Venezuela caia em um banho de sangue, em uma guerra civil fratricida, produto dos fascistas, garantamos o maior êxito, a maior vitória da história eleitoral do nosso povo”, anunciou, durante o comício.
Durante o discurso, o político informou que, quanto mais próxima estiver a vitória, “mais garantias de paz vamos ter”.
A dez dias das eleições, pesquisas indicam que Maduro pode ser derrotado pelo nome indicado pela oposição: o ex-diplomata Edmundo González, anunciado pela Plataforma Democrática Unitária (PUD).
Maduro está concorrendo ao terceiro mandato consecutivo. González foi anunciado após Corina Yoris não conseguir se candidatar devido a problemas de acesso ao sistema de inscrição. O governo Maduro e a oposição assinaram o Acordo de Barbados em outubro de 2023, o qual previa a realização de eleições democráticas na Venezuela
During the rally held on Wednesday (17/7), the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, warned that the country could face a scenario of “bloodbath” and “civil war” if he is not re-elected in the scheduled election. for July 28th. The rally was held in Parroquia de La Vega, in the West Zone of Caracas, Venezuela.
According to the president of Venezuela, the country's fate depends on its own victory.
“If you don’t want Venezuela to fall into a bloodbath, into a fratricidal civil war, a product of the fascists, let us guarantee the greatest success, the greatest victory in the electoral history of our people,” he announced during the rally.
During the speech, the politician informed that, the closer victory is, “the more guarantees of peace we will have”.
Ten days before the elections, polls indicate that Maduro could be defeated by the name indicated by the opposition: former diplomat Edmundo González, announced by the Unitary Democratic Platform (PUD).
Maduro is running for a third consecutive term. González was announced after Corina Yoris was unable to apply due to problems accessing the registration system. The Maduro government and the opposition signed the Barbados Agreement in October 2023, which provided for the holding of democratic elections in Venezuela
