Northern Kentucky Project: Peaceful Reflections on a Summer Day

While out here doing some initial brush-saw treatment for bush-honeysuckle in the second stand, I stopped during a break to share some peaceful reflections. Enjoying the prairie flowers, the sounds of the birds of field and forest, and the many butterfly species flying around me.

During the start of the video I had one already on my pants. Midway through the video another landed on my hand. Always a treat.

Among the animals of note I’ve seen today:
- flock of 6 Turkeys
- indigo bunting (bird)
- gold finch
- a bobcat!
Please note:

While starting the film I was showing the butterfly, I was not trying to show my sidearm. Also, I ended up seeing those deer lol. They came out 40 yards from me and I got to watch them for 10 minutes before they noticed I was there.
