Miércoles 4 de diciembre, a las 19:30 hrs, un grupo de alrededor de 12.000 personas daban inicio a la performance artística y de protesta social, contra la violencia, abuzo y discriminación hecha a las mujeres.
Un violador en tu camino, título de esta obra, nace de la similitud de un eslogan que uso carabineros de Chile ya hace años, " Un amigo en tu camino". La violencia contra las mujeres hace trato esta instalada en el mundo entero y este canto y danza, que se ha imitado en centenares de ciudades de Chile y del mundo entero, es una clara, concreta y frontal denuncia contra la violencia de género.
"Un violador en tu camino" es una performance de protesta creada por un colectivo feminista de Valparaíso (Chile), Lastesis, con el objetivo de protestar contra las violaciones a los derechos de las mujeres.
Fue interpretado por primera vez frente a la Segunda Comisaría de Carabineros en Valparaíso el 18 de noviembre de 2019.​ Una segunda interpretación hecha por 2000 mujeres se realizó el 25 de noviembre de 2019 como parte del Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia contra la Mujer.

A rapist in your path, the title of this work, is born from the similarity of a slogan that I have used in the Chilean police for years, "A friend in your path". Violence against women makes treatment is installed throughout the world and this song and dance, which has been imitated in hundreds of cities in Chile and around the world, is a clear, concrete and frontal complaint against gender violence.
"A rapist in your path" is a protest performance created by a feminist collective in Valparaíso (Chile), Lastesis, with the aim of protesting against violations of women's rights.
It was first interpreted in front of the Second Police Station in Valparaíso on November 18, 2019. A second interpretation made by 2000 women was held on November 25, 2019 as part of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Woman.
