The ancient Israelites believed that as the chosen people of the Most High, YAH no harm would ever come to them and if it did, it was at least in the obscure future so they wouldn't have to be the ones to experience it (a shameful lack of concern for their descendants). Ezekiel 12:27-28 "Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of the times that are far off. Therefore say unto them, Thus says YAH ALMIGHTY; There shall none of My words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, says YAH ALMIGHTY." In Ezekiel 12:24, YAH says, "there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel" but flattery is all the Israelites would give ear to; they loved to have their ears tickled with flattering lies, exactly as they still do even unto this very day. Isaiah 30:8-11 "Now go and write down these words. Write them in a book. They will stand until the end of time as a witness that these people (Israel) are stubborn rebels who refuse to pay attention to YAH's instructions. They tell the seers, Stop seeing visions! They tell the prophets, Don't tell us what is right. Tell us nice things. Tell us lies. Forget all this gloom. Get off your narrow path. Stop telling us about your Holy One of Israel." This is how they did and continue to build "a strong refuge made of lies and deception" in order to cheat death as Isaiah 28:15 so eloquently puts it. Remember how the ancient Israelites believed that taking the Ark of the Covenant into battle with them would prevent them from losing a battle (ex. 1 Samuel 4:3-4). They thought YAH would never allow the Ark of the Covenant to be taken into non-Israelite hands because it was too holy. YAH directly communed with Israel through the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 25:17-22), but rather than appreciate the tremendous blessing of having direct access to the Creator Himself, Israel tried to use it against Him. In the battle against the Philistines in 1 Samuel 4, "Israel was smitten, and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen. And the ark of YAH was taken..." (1 Samuel 4:10-11) Whatever "refuge made of lies and deception" that Israel makes will not protect us. The only refuge that will protect us is YAH Himself. Before the Babylonians came and destroyed Israel in 586 B.C.E., the Ark of the Covenant was hidden by the prophet Jeremiah and it hasn't been found since nor will it be until after the Second Exodus when YAH gathers the Israelite diaspora scattered worldwide through the Transatlantic Slave Trade, Arab Slave Trade, etc. (2 Maccabees 2:4-7). "And it shall come to pass, when you (Israel) be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, says YAH, they shall say no more, The Ark of the Covenant of YAH: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more." (Jeremiah 3:16) In the days that Jeremiah 3:16 is speaking of, YAH Himself will dwell with Israel so there will be no need for the Ark of the Covenant. "I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be My people, and I will be their Father. And David My servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in My judgments, and observe My statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob My servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and My servant David shall be their Prince for ever. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set My sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their Father, and they shall be My people. And the heathen shall know that I YAH do sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore." (Ezekiel 37:23-28) The Day of YAH is coming and, on that Day, the black slave descendants/the Israelites will overthrow their enemies. On that Day, they will tread down the wicked as per Malachi 4:3 and as per Zechariah 14:16, all the nations which came against Jerusalem will go up year to year to worship Jerusalem's Father, the King, YAH -- praise YAH!
