In the dead of night, Emma woke to the sound of a child giggling. She lived alone. Heart pounding, she followed the sound to the attic. There, in the dusty corner, an old doll sat with a sinister smile, its eyes gleaming in the dark. The giggling stopped abruptly, replaced by a whisper: "I've been waiting for you."
