Learn American Sign Language (ASL) - Free Community Classes

Join us for a series of free ASL classes designed for all age groups! Enhance your communication skills and connect with the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Class Schedule:
• Ages 5-8 (Online)
o Wednesdays at 9:00 AM
• Ages 9-13 (Online)
o Wednesdays at 10:00 AM
• Teens 14+ and Adults (In-Person & Online)
o Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
o Location: 8801 Midcrown Drive, Windcrest, TX
o Entrance: Front side of the building, same side as the Family History Library
Course Details:
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Start Date: September 4th (and every Wednesday until course end)
• Book: "ASL 100 Everyday Signs" (Students are encouraged to purchase the book in advance)
• PLEASE STUDY FINGERSPELLING BEFORE ATTENDING CLASS: The ASL Alphabet | ASL - American Sign Language - ABCs (It is the first pages in the course book)

Personal Tutoring:
If the class times don’t work for you, personal tutoring is available:
• Rate: $15 per 1/2 hour lesson
• Format: Online
• Payment Methods: Cash App, Zelle, Square, PayPal
• Requirements: Webcam or compatible app (Facebook Messenger, Zoom, or video calling)
