Tip of the Day - detox baths: salts, essential oils, cider vinegar, washing soda..

0:00 Hey everyone, I'm Madonna Guy, naturopath and kinesiologist, and this is your tip of the day. Who loves a good soaking bath?
0:08 For a start, make sure you've got a filter on your house, otherwise when you're soaking, you're soaking up all that fluoride and chlorine in your water.
0:16 And when it heats, both of them become a lot more toxic. So, are you aware of that fluoride becomes fluorine and chloride becomes chlorophyll?
0:24 So, you know, we don't want those to be soaked into our bodies and our brains and our hearts and our souls.
0:29 So, when we're having a bathtub, there are so many things we can soak in in order to get a really good detox bath.
0:36 We can use things like Epsom salts, Epsom salts as magnesium sulfate, great for relaxing the muscles. You can put things in there like apple cider vinegar and what that helps to do is create an environment where we're sucking toxins out of the body through the skin.
0:52 you can use washing soda, washing soda is a thing called electric soda and electric soda helps to pull fluid out of the body, so it's another really great one.
1:05 If you've got a good source of cheap non-purified so it's cheaper but a cheap bentonite clay or zealite clay, you can pop that in the bath and that's awesome for pulling heavy metals out of the body.
1:19 And the other thing you can do is just use good old normal table salt. If you've got table salt in your cupboard, that you've been thinking about eating, don't do it, swap it over to your Celtic sea salt, which has 82 minerals in it, and then use your table salt in your bath so you're not tempted to
1:39 put it on your food ever again. And table salt will even help you to pull toxins out of your body as well.
1:46 So make sure you drink plenty of fluid, make sure you get plenty of purified water, if you take things like the purified zeolites internally, if you have infreds, soreners, all that is really good as well, but that's just a few tips with the essential oils I wanted to quickly mention.
2:02 You can use anything in a bath to make yourself feel better. You can create your own bath bombs as well, but that's not what we're here for today, but if you've got essential oils and you want to have a bath in them, you might not know this trick.
2:15 Add a couple of the drops of the essential oils into like a teaspoon or a tablespoon of milk. That helps to emulsify the oils so that when you put it in the water, it actually goes through soaks right through the beautiful hot water so that you enjoy those essential oils even better.
