Romans 7:5-6

2. having its seat in the animal nature or aroused by the animal nature
3. human: with the included idea of depravityFlesh- the new man living the desires of the old man because he’s living through the power of the old man
Sinful passions- desires of the old man
Law— makes demands on the old man
An admittance of:
I was wrong
I can’t do it. Please Lord help but doesn’t give a helping hand
Members— the body parts that act out the sinful passions of the fleshly old man, because he has no spiritual power to overcome because he is under law, and law’s power is self instead of Spirit and sin’s power is the law. If you, through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the flesh (Romans 8:13)
