EXCERPT: "Welcome to the Shuv Show. I'm your host, Christene Jackman.
The title of tonight's discussion is ".07th of an Inch."

Over the past year especially, I've had a very heavy heart regarding the icy road slide of our nation's descent into moral bankruptcy. The vehicle of our Country is spinning and side skidding down the highway of history, banging and bouncing off every tree and guard rail it sees on the way. We're bruised. We're battered. And we are ever slipping towards that rocky cliff in whose canyon floor lies the mangled wrecks of former superpowers. Our nation needs to put on new snow tires. Better yet, heed the forecasts. Stay off the road when it's icy. Place competent and Godly drivers at the wheel.

Our country was founded on the moral principles of the Bible. That's a fact. We vowed to be one nation, under God. The God of that bible. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob/Israel. And it makes no difference if many today reject belief in God. A vow is a vow. And God heard it. A republic, or a democracy, is only a good as the Godly virtue of its people. Once that entity loses its moral measuring stick based on the Biblical Covenant, then it decays into, "and everyone did what was right in their own eyes." That is not a good thing. That is chaos. And that's exactly what Hasatan, the Adversary, wants.

Let's look at one of our struggles:
There are many things that make up the human body. You need them to function properly: the organs, muscles, bones, skin, cells, atoms, etc., and…the neshama, the spirit, breathed into mankind by our Creator. Of all these components that comprise a human being, our skin is only .07th of an inch thick and makes up only 6 pounds worth of our total body weight.

We are so much more than just our skin.
Then why are we soooo focused on the skin color of people and ethnicity? It's not what we look like that matters most! It's not even so much what we say, but what we actually do that carries the most weight. What a shallow thing to focus only on the outward appearance. Skin color doesn't matter to a blind person. Perhaps our whole nation needs to don blindfolds for a time, so we can begin to hone in on what is really important: What is the heart of that person? What does that individual actually do? . . . "
