Red Rising – Action, Allegory, Archetypes

With all the great SF that’s coming out, it’s easy to miss interesting releases by new authors. Today I review one I recently discovered, the “Red Rising” Trilogy by Pierce Brown. Why did it become a cult classic despite its lack of industry recognition? Will it become the next sci-fi movie blockbuster?
