Handi Camper - Bear Lake Tavern

A few years ago my husband watched a movie and decided he wanted to visit the tavern in that movie. He began planning a 12-day trip through MI and Bear Lake Tavern was the focus of our journey.
The service is amazing the waitress, Abreil is the best. She remembered the tavern closing down for a couple of days for filming and my husband was over the top excited to chat with her. She also gave us a quick history of Muskegon which was very interesting.
The food is delicious! My son ordered nachos, my husband ordered the Tavern Burger and green fried tomatoes. I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich and everything was delicious!
I wish we spent more time in Muskegon but it allows us to visit again.
We sat outside and one couple had their well-behaved dog with them. There were families with small children and groups of friends. Bear Lake Tavern is a great place to eat with a nice view of the lake.

About Handi Camper:
Around 10 years ago I found out I had MS. At first, it was very controllable and didn’t significantly impact my life. A few years later, I had an “episode” and things changed. Slowly, every year I seem to lose some mobility.
My movement is now like an 80 year old and I get fatigued easily. I use a walker to move around and a cane for shorter distances, where I know a seat will be available.
Before my MS, something I greatly enjoyed was exploring new places. Having the privilege of living in the great North East, I am blessed with access to countless New England towns. My joy used to be, walking through towns and exploring the character of all the little shops in town.
I can no longer do that.
R.V. life has given me the ability to experience some of the mobility freedom from my past.
I have enjoyed watching many travel channels on YouTube so I am hoping to add my new found limits to this genre. And my hope is to maybe help someone not so inclined, to go out and see our beautiful country.
Thanks for watching. I am very new to this so any constructive pointers on video editing or subject matter capture would be appreciated.
Thank you.
