1979 Ford Mustang Restoration Rock Video Extensive Autobody Repair
Over 20 years of Ownership from Highschool pass Active Army this Mustang took him across the country from Wisconsin to Fort Hood, Texas then to Alabama and back to Wisconsin. From there it sat at his uncle's farm as he had orders to Germany. After leaving the military this car became one of the biggest projects of his life. After coming back from Germany he dropped a modified V8 Engine in the car and was clocked by Wisconsin State Patrol at over 130 MPH going down Highway 151 going towards Dubuque IA from Platteville, WI. The Patrol officer let him slide with a reduced ticket since he had just got back from Germany and was used to driving on the Autobahn. The Officer also mentioned his brother was stationed in Germany as well. They had a good laugh. Officer wrote him a ticket for 80mph in a 65 to save him from a mandatory court appearance. Officer's discretion is a beautiful thing sometimes. Also, Should mention the officer did not have to chase him. Jeremy Saw him on the overpass along tree line and immediately put on the brakes, which the officer greatly appreciated. Project has another V8 being worked on currently with AFR Racing Heads and a new cam. Car is still awaiting final Paint job but at the end of this you will see the planned paint scheme.
