J. Michael Cline, the 64-year-old co-founder of Fandango and philanthropist, was identified as the man who jumped from the 20th floor of The Kimberly Hotel in Midtown, police and sources said.

Cline, a serial entrepreneur and father of six, left an apparent suicide note. His death, days after gallbladder surgery, shocked those who knew him.

Cline, a managing partner at Accretive, owned multimillion-dollar homes in Greenwich, the Hamptons, and Palm Beach.

He graduated from Cornell University and earned an MBA from Harvard.

He was involved in global wildlife preservation as chairman of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and was executive chairman of startup funder Juxtapose.

Cline founded several companies, including R1 RCM, Insureon, and Everspring, the New York Post has reported.
